Independent review sings praises for Flightglobal’s online presence.

By Simon, 10 August, 2010, 1 Comment

It was going to be hard to beat last year’s Paris air show attempt but Flightglobal’s Farnborough Air Show website which I built really pushed the boundaries in terms of content and usability. I did manage to find one independent site who reviewed all 3 publishers at Farnborough Air Show and it sings a lot of praises for Flightglobal!

Award Winning…

By Simon, 15 June, 2010, No Comment

I never blow my own trumpet but this one is pretty special.

I have worked on Flightglobal a lot over the last year including the creation of the Paris Air Show front end last year, fixing and updating many pages and recently creating the HTML and CSS for their brand new channel called MRO.

The “Association of Online Publishers” held their 2010 awards last week and the Flightglobal website won the category of “Best business website“.

These awards are open to all online publishers in TV, Media and publishing so it was a fantastic result that showed this team did a really great job over the last year to win such an award.

Here’s to 2011…

How to increase sales via mobile phones thanks to usability

By Simon, 5 March, 2010, 2 Comments

An often overlooked sales avenue is mobile phone users and I admit it wasn’t until last year I began to take it more seriously.  I have been testing various ways of promoting the fact my sites  work on mobile phones like the iPhone and I’ve made quite an (obvious) discovery which has resulted in a big increase in overall sales…
