Web App Design

Cross-Browser Bug Fixing
I have spent my career dealing with of browsers like IE6 which has given me the most work. I am able to solve all browser bugs from IE6 down to small screens like the iPhone. As long as I have a way of visually seeing the page working I can fix any bug you can throw at me. In all these years I haven't once been beaten!
There are no fixed prices for this work as the code behind the page could be error free or it could contain thousands of errors (I've worked with both) so there is a set hourly rate of £45 an hour. I can give you a rough idea once I've seen the problem and I can keep you constantly updated as I go along so there are no shocks.

PSD to HTML conversions
If you have a template in an image format (PSD, JPEG, Gif, BMP or PNG) I can covert that quickly and easily in either HTML4/CSS2 or HTML5/CSS3. My promise to you is:
- My HTML and CSS will be error free
- The template will be search engine friendly
- The page will work across many browsers and resolutions
- The template should have no hacks but some templates may require one or two.
I charge by the hour for conversions as the time varies greatly. On average I can code up the initial template in 3 to 6 hours and the remaining page at roughly 1 to 2 hours per page. The price is £45 an hour.

Search Engine / Social Media Help
Long gone are the days where I could guarantee first page placement by just SEO on a page. There are many, many factors to achieving this and while it is still possible it requires a LOT of external work. I do not do this work myself but I will give you a detailed report on what you need to do to succeed. If you have a web site already and it isn't working well I can examining the site and send you a detailed report on what you need to do.
It will take me 2 to 4 days to do a full review and write out the report but at the end of it you will have a clear path to follow to build up your ranking. The cost is £85.

Usability
Chances are you have a site which gets the visitors but not the amount of sales you would expect. The sad fact is no-one bothers with usability or if they do it has been left too late. I have many years of experience dealing with usability and making a web site successful. My recent freelance project saw a 211% increase in sales in the first month! The key is to design the site around the user and user habits. Get this right and sales will surge.
I can offer you a detailed report on the problem areas of the page and offer you suggestions on placements and journey flows to help increase sales. I have successfully increased sales on all sites I've worked on.
Usability service - Option 1:
The cheapest option is for me to review your site and based on my experience recommend solutions to increase sales. This will cost from £180 and will take 2 to 3 days. I can also make the changes for you at a cost of £45 an hour.
Usability service - Option 2:
The second service is a full usability test using testers from a wide range of users. Each external tester will cost £50. With this service I will set them tasks to complete and monitor what they do to achieve those results. I have a wide range of internet users to choose from and these testers will often bring up impediments no experienced internet user or business user would have thought of.
Usability works... it works very well and I will increase your sales no matter which option you choose!
I can also offer an A/B testing service so you can test the two versions at once (50% of your visitors get your version and the other 50% get mine). Payment terms
FIXED PRICE TERMS - I will require a 50% deposit on acceptance of the job and the final 50% to be paid once the work has been signed off. I retain full copyright and ownership of the work until payment has been made in full and the work cannot be uploaded on to any live environment until full payment has been made.
HOURLY RATE TERMS - I will require 5 hours payment on acceptance of the job and the remainder to be paid in full once the work has been signed off. If my hours end up under the 5 hour charge I will refund you within 24 hours of completion. I retain full copyright and ownership of the work until payment has been made in full and the work cannot be uploaded on to any live environment until full payment has been made.
