Darious nominated the above site Callaway Fitness as the worst of the week and I must admit I'm going to be hard pressed to find one much worse than this one. The top most annoying things voted by web surfers are:

- Animated graphics
- Pop ups
- Music / Sound
- Frames
- Long load up times

This site seems to go out of its way to make navigating it as infuriating as it possibly can

The frames mean not only is it totally search engine un-friendly but it also makes navigating and printing a nightmare. Frames died back in the 90's but they still live on here.

On the home page you have wait for over 20 images and almost 1Mb to load. Considering most people design a page no larger than 50 to 80kb that is one hell of a waiting time if you're on a dial up connection.

The misuse of animated graphics is amazing. The distractions they all cause drive you nuts after a really short time.

And then my pet hate; sound forced down your throat. Web users hate it and everyone stopped doing it years ago because it's so damn annoying.

Now we move onto screen size. This site is primarily for 1024x768 users so the design of this site was purposely designed for people using that resolution. Callaway fitness should be catering for everybody but surfers using the second most popular resolution (800x600) have to scroll not only up and down but also left and right on most of the pages.

Seriously if you want a "What not to do when designing a web site" this is probably the best example I've seen as it uses almost everything shown on my what to avoid using on your site page.
