What a day!

Today has been a nightmare and I'm glad it's over. I was so busy I was still wrapping parcels at 3pm today. Normally I'd be finished with them by 11.30am.

I had a couple of complaints today because they hadn't received their goods. After I told them they needed to have supplied a address to post to they still had a go :(

I set up my first wireless network tonight at Maries so now I can surf away while she's watching her crappy shows on cable hehehe :)

It is cool just sitting here with the laptop without it being connected to hubs and routers etc. It took me an hour to get it going but it's all done now.

Roll on tomorrow!

HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY
WWW. SIMONDAY.COM

Yup, it was 5 years ago on this day I started SimonDay.Com. At first it was just an online CV with a few hits a week. It's now almost 500 pages with over 10,000 hits a WEEK!

I have so many sub sections and different topics on this site you'll be surprised what's on it!

I want to thank everyone that looks at this site and all the emails I receive regarding the site. Happy birthday SimonDay.Com!

THE BEST WEB SITE IN THE UK!

Well ok.. it's the best if you suffer, like me, from constant phone calls from telesales trying to sell you stuff you don't want. The Telephone Preference Service (TPS) allows you to sign up to add your phone number to a list that telesales MUST NOT CALL or they break UK law.

Under Government legislation introduced on 1st May 1999 and replaced on 11th December 2003 by the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, it is unlawful to make unsolicited direct marketing calls to individuals who have indicated that they do not want to receive such calls.

By signing up on the site after 28 days it is then illegal for telesales callers to call you.

How cool is that!!

Wot no fish!

I managed to get some fishing time in after weeks of none. I bought loads of bait (live lug/rug plus squid) and there was a farewell meet at Oddicombe beach Friday evening to say goodbye to Wellyfish and Talis who are moving up country.

The sea was so rough we didn't actually get to fish but we still somehow managed to stay down there for 3 hours joking about. This thread here contains the evenings events, pretty funny if you know us :)

Saturday was spent working in the morning. The afteroon and evening with Marie and Hannah.

Sunday saw me up at 7am because the dog wanted to go out so no sleep in for me :) Me and Marie took Hannah out down town for her first shopping trip in Torquay during the day and in the afternoon we went shopping (I spend too much! hehe).

Sunday evening I planned to actually get some fishing done. I tried Oddicombe beach first but the waves and weed were still too bad so I ended up on Princess pier in Torquay. What a waste of time that was. Hardly any bites with crabs eating my baits within minutes of casting out. The plus side was I had the whole pier to myself while the nights sky put on a shooting star display for me. I took a few night time photos which I'll add soon to my other Free desktop wallpaper site.

I came across a cracking web site a while ago which is well worth a look at. This Urban Legands site contains tons of info about urban legands. One of the sections well worth checking out is the one for the recent Tsunami. There are a lot of false photos flying around the net and this site will show you which are the real from the fake. Awesome site!
