HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANNAH!

It's one week today that our Daughter Hannah was born and it's been a mad one. All our family have now seen her and lots of photos taken.

Hannah has started to open her eyes a lot more now and is much more aware of what's going on around her. Her feeding times range from every 10 minutes to 5 hours but it's starting to settle into a routine.

Yes I'm changing nappies but I'm always scared of hurting her so it takes me much longer than Marie because of the fear factor :)

The calm after a storm_

As is always the way during the birth period Devon Locks had the busiest 4 days on record taking 5 times what it normally does. Now the birth has happened things have dropped right back to normal. Sod's law really is a evil thing.

We registered the birth at Oldway Mansion yesterday so it's all now official.

I was driving home the other night and saw a huge blaze by Torre Station with lots of fire engines. The Local paper said:

Arsonists have struck again in Torquay, destroying a coach and setting light to a flat. It is believed the attacks are linked to a similar incident last week when a 52-seater coach was burnt out at Kerswell Gardens.

At 9.23pm on Sunday firebugs broke into the Rok construction site at Newton Road and set light to some cardboard boxes and chairs in a room at the Old Laundry development on the old CLS laundry site..

Two hours later, intruders broke into Palm Tree Travel at Torre Station Yard and set light to a single-decker bus.

Flames from the coach spread to some nearby trees.

Fire crews from Torquay attended both incidents and managed to stop the fires from spreading.

I also discovered yesterday that my emails wern't getting through to clients so I had that mess to sort out as well. All done now (I think) so hopefully work will start getting back to normal.

After all these years on the Internet I've finally gotten around to setting up on Ebay and Paypal. There really are some good bargains to be had and the last few seconds in a bidding war are great fun :)

The realisation of running your own company hit home this morning. I entered the office and just saw mountains of orders and questions. I have 4 days work to do in just today. Because of the birth everything went on hold and now I have to play catchup. It's going to be a very long day today.

My PayPal account is up and running now so I have a few bids on ebay running for clothes etc for Hannah. What's the chances I'm bidding against other family members for this stuff hehehe :)

We are registering the birth tomorrow so everything is a go.

This is all I have time for at the moment.

Day Two and things still great!

I'm still on cloud nine and it's slowly sinking in I have a daughter now... Wow, that sounds cool :)

I've taken loads of photos with my new camera (Fuji Finepix S7000) and it is an awesome camera and a great upgrade from my Canon A70.

If you're a family member and I've not seen you to give you the URL for the baby pics please email me for the URL. It's in a private section of the site so you won't find the link on here.

Hannah like feeding during the night so poor Marie isn't getting much sleep :(

More later as I need to go see my daughter :)
