Anyone seen those cool looking promos for a new TV show on Sky One called "The 4400"?

Looks good doesn't it?

Well don't bother watching it just yet because they canned it after only 5 episodes and you're left not really knowing what it was about and what the other 5 episodes were leading up to.

I've heard rumours that they may be extending it to 13 episodes in the future so my advice would be to wait until they have confirmed they are extending the series (and if it ends there hopefully wrapping it up). If you watch it you'll end up annoyed just like most of us were after watching the only season of John Doe (John Doe ended up on a huge climax with the reason behind the whole series about to be explained. Fox in their usual retarded manner then canned it).

Bring out the Branston.... not at these costs_

I don't know how many of you are aware that the factory that makes Branston pickle was burnt down the other day. Although they will be back in production by Dec/Jan there are wide spread rumors of mass buying in time for Christmas.

Well this had to happen and could only happen on Ebay. One ebay seller is selling a jar of Branston pickle at a "buy now" price of £25

I'm now certain the World has gone completely mad :)

The fun stops before it begins_

The person who created a clone of my blog has conceded defeat before it begun so my plans for playing him at his own game are over already.

A rather different year for fireworks_

Anyone else that this year the fireworks that drive you mad all through the night haven't been anywhere near as bad as previous years?

I'm wondering if the new laws actually did a good job because this year my dog hasn't been anywhere near as scared as he has been before. Normally you start to hear fireworks going off a month before Nov 5th but this year I didn't hear my first one until a few days before the 5th.

Let's hope this carries on next year as it was certainly a pleasant time this year.
