I have a fan_

I had someone email me the other day that has created a web site slagging me off with the intention of blackmailing me into removing his site from my worst web site section.

I'm actually flattered that this person has taken the time to register a domain, get it hosted, create a blog and then rip this page while adding his own drivel about me being pompous, egotistical and an all round little shit as he calls me :)

It's shame he did it from his own computer. He set up a hotmail email account thinking he was nice and safe but a quick simple check showed exactly who he is. lol what a muppet!

The other funny thing is he registered this domain using my name and address so if I wanted too I could email for the details to be posted to me and lock him out of the domain he bought hehehe.

Do I think I'm pompous?
No.

Do I think the internet can make a difference?
Yes which is why I do what I do because too many large companies think they can get away with anything.

The internet is a place where freedom of speech lives on. I'm quite happy for him to have this web site and in an email to him I said so. He wants to play a search engine flame game and I'm certainly up for that. I did say that he had a choice before I commence so I wait to see the results.

It’s only fair that if someone ups the stakes I should be allowed to also rise to that level if I want to.

Can I backhand an "Immune from fixed penelty tickets" as well Mr Traffic Warden?_

Well once again I see I have a fixed penelty notice on my car but still the vans and lorries on the buidling site opposite remain ticket free.

Hardly fair when their vans remain empty with no loading or unloading ever happening and yet I am constantly loading and unloading all day long.

I must ask our local warden how much of a back hander the builders paid and ask if I can also pay it to keep my car immune from all fixed penelty tickets as well. If anyone knows the going rate of a backhander for Devon and Cornwall Traffic Wardens please let me know.

On the last fixed penelty ticket I was issued there were 5 vehicles parked there but again I was the only one issued a ticket. The other four vehicles all belonged to the builders with signs saying they work on the site. I wrote to complain that surely either everyone gets a ticket or no-one gets a ticket but I was told I had to pay so pay I did. It really annoys me that I have to park away from where I live just so builders vans can park for free all day every day.

So it continues. If I worked in the building site opposite I would have a "get out of ticket" card for as long as I wanted.

Shore fishing Dawlish Warren_

Went fishing with two friends last night at Dawlish Warren on the main beach just under the tunnel.

Considering we had 6 rods out catches and bites were very rare. Total for the night was 2 whiting and a peeler crab.

The good thing about going there was we met a bunch of local fisherman who told us where the best fishing spots were. It's always the problem deciding where to fish when you're fishing an area you've never been in before.

The learning experience continues....
