I tried to go fishing down Oddicombe beach today to practise with my new multiplier reel but this is what faced me:

rough seas on Oddicombe beach

I ended up in the pub by Babbacombe pier instead for a quick pint before heading home.

I think I finally have all the fishing equipment I need. Today I bought a headlamp so I can fish a lot easier at night.

Here are the 2004 Torbay Sea Angling Festival results for those who want to know.

Lots of new Sea fishing help guides added and extended on my site.

I've also added a lot more free wallpapers to this site.

Brixham Breakwater Fishing Meet

Well yesterday was the day for the fishing meet that I organised for the Fishing Forum I'm a member of. We managed to take up pretty much the entire last third of the breakwater and we had a great day. I took a load of photos and we ended up with more fish than I thought we would do. Loads of Ballen Wrasse, garfish, pollock, mackerel and the odd weever fish and rockling. The weather forcast got it wrong as usual. Hardly any rain but gale foace winds instead. I took £20 worth of bait and by the end of the day didn't have much left.

If you missed it but want to go to the next one (early 2005) keep checking my Torbay Fishing web site and also the Fishing Forum.
