I went fishing last night with my newphew Tom and I caught my personal best Wrasse:

I went fishing yesterday with my mate Anthony and we both caught quite rare and very rare fish. I caught a black bream and a red mullet and he caught a ballen wrasse. I also missed out on a conger which has really annoyed me. I was using a 1lb "flapper Pollock" because I had no mackerel. Anyway I noticed the rod bend very slightly 3 times and I thought it was a crab so left it. When I reeled it in only the head was left. It had a very clean bite mark and I was fishing in heavy rocks with quite low water so I can't think of anything else it can be. I'm going to buy a new reel and whack on some really heavy duty line and try there again soon. This location is awesome! And secret hehe ;-)
