I've started to change one of our sites to offer a Complete web package for £99 and it includes a domain name, web hosting and the page design and all for just £99. I'm still working on the site but it is starting to take shape nicely.

I caught and warned another site today who were using my images. Be warned, I do seek and destroy missions often :)

I've added Exeter Airport Direct to my Worst web site of the week page.

Google has reverted back to its old (though slightly modified) database so all those who dropped off the face of the earth should be back near where they were again.

I emailed Marsh Tackle a while back saying would he like to use a new web site design I created for him. Well he did although modified quite a bit now but you can check out the newer look Marsh Tackle here.

Teignmouth Harbour launches a new web site and it's actually pretty user friendly to the disabled surfer.

I also updated my Torbay fishing news page today.

I don't often get to meet my clients as they are scattered all over the World but I met Andrew from English Cufflinks last week. It was nice but I now have 3 Andrew's as clients and it's getting a little confusing who is who :)

I've also started promoting an online store selling Baby wraps and baby slings.

For all you a space folk out there next Thursday sees the launch of a robotic explorer and its mission is to land on a comet. More on this story here.

I had an appointment this morning to install broadband for someone and I clean forgot about it. I so rarely ever forget a meeting but I'm going to spend the rest of the day now thoroughly annoyed with myself for missing it :(

I've heard rumors that some local shops will be selling blank CD's for prices very close to SVP (who will be supplying them to the shops). I don't know too much yet but I'll keep you all posted.

I just had the boating magazine "All At Sea" phone me up to ask if they can use one of my pictures on the front cover of their magazine which comes out in the next couple of weeks.

So if you do get the mag then check out the front cover :)

IMPORTANT WARNING!!

If you use formmail on a secure server please read the following:

On Friday the 13th last week (Had to be the 13th didn't it ) I noticed that all the scripts I had on my secure server were no longer working properly.
These forms ranged from formmail 1 to NMS formmail 3.11 and not a single one worked correctly.

We've traced the problem to the windows update last week. In fixing the phishing and domain name spoofing they have created bugs in how IE handles text field ID's on secure servers.

If you use formmail and have it running on a secure server only please run a few fake orders to see if you have been affected by this.

The update only causes problems for IE based browsers and those using IE's DLL (Like opera). Netscape users are unaffected by this.

I can't find anyone else who has found this problem yet but I doubt many check order forms as much as I do. If this has affected you please let me know.

I've managed to get the forms working again by shortening the ID to around 5 to 7 characters and removing any - or _ I had in the ID.

I'm in one of my strange moods today.

Parents always moan at children that they spend too much time in front of the TV and computer. I wonder who tells the retired they watch too much. Everytime I go down to my local shop I go past a house who's window never has a curtain going over it. Every single time I have gone past it the husband and wife are sat apart watching TV. Even on the darkest night in December I walked past at 4.30pm and they were both sat there. I went back past at 11pm and they were still there. They spend every night in front of the TV all night.

Male wigs are another thing that I find weird.

A male wearing a wig can be instantly spotted because male wigs look so bad and yet womens wigs always look natural. Anyone else ever found that weird?

Told you I was in a strange mood tonight :)

Just updated The tide times for this coming weekend.

As I was getting washed etc this morning I happened to notice that it was actually quite a nice looking day out there. I hadn't been fishing for a few weeks so I went down to Haldon Pier to do some fishing and enjoy the weather.

You wouldn't believe it's only February. Once I got settled down there it was so nice I took off my jumper and was sat down there in just a tee-shirt. There were loads of people down there today and there were even a group of lads jumping off the pier and swimming in the sea.

Haldon Pier, Torquay in February

No-one was cathcing a thing but the weather was so nice it didn't seem to matter to anyone including me. I haven't seen so many boats leaving the Marina since the summer either. It looked like all of them were making the most of the it.
