As you may have seen I've altered the main site again. It was ok but I wanted a more cleaner looking site and I like the new look.

People collecting swords and knives has really taken off but it's something that I've never really been interested in. That is until I visited Blades UK. Damn, they have some really nice stuff on there that would look great on a wall or mantle piece.

Steve from IT Trade came over today and we've put up all his prices now and also a few other bits. Apart from the hardware section it's all done.

I've ordered a new upgrade for my machine because this one cannot handle the new photoshop CS and DW 2004.

I've replacing a:

1.7gb processor
512mb ram

to a:
2.6gb processor
1 gig ram

I haven't upgraded the guts of the machine for a good couple of years but up until the 2 new updates for PS and DW came along I hadn't needed them.

I've been told I must have tomorrow off so I might actually get out and do a bit of fishing if the weather isn't too bad (still recovering from a cold).

Or I could just work all day... what do you reckon thiefy? :-)

I've noticed google is acting very strange at the moment. Very big changes are about to happen. It looks like they've added another database and this one is paying a lot more attention to content and ranking cheating.

I got my second enquiry about helping someone fix a problem with thier PC. I only added the page last week I think and already I've had 2 enquiry's. Pretty sweet :)

I had a really bad day in the video/cyber cafe shop yesterday. Some women who was working on her CV come up to me bitching that the computer had deleted her CV off her disk. I did try to explain computers don't just get bored and decide to delete things and she had to of confirmed she wanted it deleted. I asked what exactly happened and all she could remember was a window popping up saying something.... grrrr :)

Phew, just finished adding the pages to Online-Shopping-Sites.Com and I'm shattered. Been working on it all day.

I still have a few hundred more online stores to add to it but it already saves people a lot of time hunting down the good online stores.

I've just started on a new project which is my own. Online-Shopping-Sites.Com will be a huge site with listings of various online shopping stores around the World. I only have a couple of dozen sites on there at the moment but it's now almost 2am and I need some sleep.

The coding on the site is pretty sweet. Usually the links on the left go before the main text in the HTML. I've set the page up so the main text goes before the links and the whole site will move about when resized except for the links which I wanted in just one position. I'm happy with the results and the search engines should love it as well.

I've also added an adwords banner to all my pages on this site except for this one. Each click gives me a small amount of money but it all helps keeping this site going.

I had a pretty stressed night last night. My Sister phoned me at around 10pm to say that my Newphew Tom (who's only Ten) has gone to hospital and she needed a lift up there to consent an operation on him. The poor little guy was being really brave even when they were putting needles and tubes into him.

I left the hospital after half an hour and went back to my sisters to relieve a neighbour who was babysitting her other kids. I didn't get home until 3am but the operation went well. He's staying in hospital for a few days to recover. I won't say on here what the problem was but I'm glad everything went smoothly. I'm hoping to go see him at some point today. Tom is the one that comes fishing with me and you would know him if you'd seen the photo of his first catch.

Because I have been so busy I haven't been fishing for ages and after I left he actually said to his mum "I hope Simon hasn't been going fishing without me". Bless him :)

I've also added a Torbay tourism page and a Places to stay in Torbay page.

I have also finished updating the new IT trade page. It isn't completed yet because the owner of the site will be adding all the text, I just set up the pages for him.
