Cross-browser Summary
I have been coding HTML and CSS since 1997. As each new browser came out I learnt the bugs and knew how to prevent them or bypass them. I rarely have to resort to hacks when I build a site because I can avoid them in the first place.
What cross-browser help can I offer you?
For many people IE6 is the biggest problem but I spend most days fixing problems for people who are struggling with various browsers. I test all my work on IE6, IE7, IE8, FireFox, Opera, Chrome and iPhone.
What I need from you
You will need to supply me a working visual of the page or allow me access to the CSS file and site if you have an internal network. The most important thing is that I can see a working copy with the errors and then be able to change the styles so I can fix each one as I go along.
Please do not supply me a single php file with no way of seeing what's going on.
The amount of effort varies greatly. The better and more valid the code you give me the quicker I can solve the problem. If your code contains hundreds (or thousands) of errors then the process will take longer because I have to take into account each error in the code.
