HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope you all had a great New Years Eve and you aren’t regretting last night too much :-)

I’m just recovering from the stomach virus that’s keeping Torbay Hospital closed to visitors. I can tell you it is a very nasty virus and it is infectious so keep away from anyone with it.

I had a really great Christmas this year and it was one of my best in a long time. Christmas is a child’s time and there is nothing better than seeing the face of a 3 year old as they go down the stairs Christmas morning and see all the presents which appeared overnight.

News Years Eve I spent with some friends and we had a few beers while watching a couple of videos.

I got quite a few bits for fishing over Christmas but the bug kept me at home. I’m itching to try them all out but it’s looking like Tuesday before I can go for the first time this year.

The baby’s head is in position now so I could be a Dad for the first time at pretty much anytime now and it’s looking like sooner rather than later. It was due on the 22nd Jan according to the hospital but we worked it out around the 6th Jan. Marie saw the midwife on Thursday and judging by her comments she seems to think it’s going to be sooner as well.
