http://www.theenglishriviera.co.uk/ - Who designed this mess?

I have a client that wanted his web site updated. No problem there. I design a web site that passes W3C HTML and CSS as well has being grade AAA on Bobby. So far so good.

He then wanted me to add an events page and link it through to the English Rivera’s events page. I add the page and then run his site through W3C again to find it fails on 8 counts because of the URL. There is no other way of adding this page. I was hoping I could link through to a folder but no, they had to use to a way of messing everything up.

I then ran a bobby check on 40 of their pages and each page has almost 100 errors per page. This is the one of those "This is how you should never design an accessible site".

I've solved the problem by linking the events page to a blank page on the clients web site explaining that this dummy page was needed to make sure the rest of the web site remains valid.

In October this year all web sites should have made at least an effort to make their web sites accessible. I would have thought it would of been a higher priority for sites such as this.
