Spent the weekend fishing from Brixham Breakwater. Results were:

37 mackerel (best 2lb 1oz)
18 garfish (Best 1lb 7oz)
4 pollock (best 2 1/2lb)
1 conger (got off the hook as I was hauling it up though grrr. Was at least 20lb)
2 wrasse (best 1lb 2oz)
1 heavily sunburnt Simon (best burn = the face) ;-)

The weather over July and August has been terrible and I knew just to annoy all the tourism places that the weather would improve. Sure enough yesterday we had a heat wave with temperatures as high as 26c
