I'm looking to book a charter boat or to go on one with other people. Anyone fancy getting a group together or letting me join you on one? I've never done it and would love to give it a go.
 
I've been doing quite a bit of fishing the last few days and I've had some really good times.
 
On Saturday I went fishing from Princess Pier between 9.30pm and 12.30am and caught 3 nice sized dog fish and a couple of Pollock. What made it even better was I'm making all my own rigs now so it's double the reward when you pull them in. Why its taken me this long to start making my own I have no idea. I should have started ages ago.

Friday afternoon was good as well. I was float fishing at depths between 5 to 20 foot just to see what was about. The day was good because I caught a fish I'd never caught before called a Scad. I always used to fish a set way and at set depths but recently I've been experimenting a lot and the rewards have been great. The last two days I've been pulling in catch after catch while the people either side of me were catching nothing.  It's normally me watching others catch so it's great to start experimenting to learn how to improve my fish rate.
 
I think I've learned more in the last week than I have in the last 2 years. The two things I'd love to learn about now is how to get live prawns and rag/lug worms.
