Well I went fishing all day yesterday and then in the late afternoon I shot back home, fed the dog and then went back down to Haldon pier to take some photos of the tall ship coming into Torbay.
It should have been mooring up along the marina but in the end it just anchored out in the middle of the bay. I took a few photos but I had to zoom to get good photos of it so the quality isn't all that great. You can see the Tall ship wallpaper photo here (On the new site).
The fishing was amazingly bad. I was there for over 4 hours and didn't get a single bite and everyone else along Princess Pier was the same. The worst part was some muppet has put buoys and pots all along the pier right by where everyone fishes. I can't believe they are allowed to do this considering how popular the pier is for fishing.
You can tell it's a bank holiday because all the jet-skiers come out in force. While I was down there I was watching 1 parent with his two children all on a jet ski. He had complete disregard for the fisherman and was coming right in where everyone was fishing. The result was one poor fisherman watching his rod go out to sea because the jet skier snagged onto it. He was driving everyone mad.
